Our book clubs were created as intentional spaces for learning, reflection, accountability, and community. What started as a small group of women committed to doing deeper anti-racism work has grown into a powerful extension of our mission to create honest conversations, center marginalized voices, and use books as a pathway for transformation.
Each club is designed with a specific purpose and community in mind. These are not just spaces to read books. They are spaces to think critically, ask better questions, sit with discomfort, build understanding, and connect with people who are committed to growth.
Our Anti-Racism Book Club for White Women is a guided learning space for white women who want to move beyond good intentions and begin doing real anti-racism work. Through books, discussion, reflection, and community accountability, members are invited to examine whiteness, privilege, bias, systems of oppression, and the role they play in creating change.
Ashes and Ink is a book club created for Black transgender and cisgender men. This space centers Black men’s stories, voices, healing, identity, brotherhood, creativity, and lived experiences through literature and meaningful conversation.
Both book clubs are rooted in the belief that books can open the door, but the real work happens in the conversations, the reflection, and the action that follows.
